Physical Description: A warm golden brown skin, and soft grey eyes, his hair is most often bleached well and away from it's normal and natural dark brown, but it's then re-dyed into any array of interesting colors. his current is a mixture of a pale mint green to a soft teal in an ombre fade. He is of a fairly unremarkable build, though he sports a certain endurance from keeping up with his own shop and its heavy boxes, let alone custom orders where he tracks down particular used books for people. He prefers to wear button-down shirts and vests, sometimes layering it with a suit jacket, though he pairs this look with a pierced ear and wildly colorful glasses frames that seem to change depending on mood. Multiple rings adorn long fingers though thematically they tend to be at least reminiscent of branches and waves.
Occupation: Rayne currently runs a used bookstore called 'The Book Wyrm' - the shingle it hangs for the world is a plump-waisted dragon leaned back against a stack of books while reading another book clutched in its claws. - it sports used books as its primary source of income but also boasts a small selection of Signed copies, some used, some new - and sports a special area to support local authors, and a separate one that is specialized in Gay Literature. There are corners through the store where people can pull down a book and read it to see if it's the one they are looking for, and a drop box for people to drop off books they both don't want and aren't sure they want to admit to having owned, otherwise, customers are welcome to bring boxes in and leave them for appraisal.
Personality: While he's not the most outgoing socially, he finds it soothing to be behind the counter and at work, with the smell of old pages and ink and the satisfaction of customers who have found what they were looking for, and sometimes things they didn't realize they wanted. The more nervous he is the more he tends to stutter, the less a speech impediment, and the more that his mind races ahead of his mouth and they need to catch up with one another without mixing words. He loves music, and even audiobooks though he's well aware that some of the people who patronize his shop don't consider them to be 'the same as reading' - it's sometimes just easier to focus when there is something else in the background, and music and stories satisfy different itches. Some of his regulars have likely caught him with an audiobook on over a pair of headphones, and a book in hand while he sips oversweetened coffee.
