Skin Color: Caucasian, not super pale, but not tan. He has the phases of the moon across the back of his shoulders, and a white lotus on the inside of one wrist.
Physique: Slim, might be considered androgynous if his shoulders were a touch less broad. On the pretty side of masculine. Both nipples are pierced.
Occupation: Bartender and drug dealer
Personality: At first meet Val comes off as carefree and overly friendly, with a confidence that seems hard earned and built up. Unshakable. He's talkative and flamboyant, flirts like he breaths, and given half a chance he will invade the fuck out of peoples personal spaces because touch is very important to him. In contrast to that, he is also fiercely independent and tends to avoid lasting or deep relationships.

Backstory: Val knew who and what he was at a very early age, and also knew that his hyper conservative family and backwater small town would not be very accepting of him. So he did what most fearful queer children do in such situations, he hid that side of himself. At least until midway through high school. The facade he'd worked so hard to maintain started to crumble. The real Val bleeding out through the cracks. Rumors and whispers, questionable items found in his room. It all culminated in the fight of the century and a brokenhearted sixteen year old being disowned and kicked out.

From there Val traveled north. For a while he lived in New York City, couch hoping when he could, turning tricks when he couldn't. It was easier than it should have been, and just as easy to fall into drugs to cope, then dealing to put more money in his pocket. It was lucrative, and it allowed him to survive fairly comfortably.

The jobs that followed were ones picked specifically to help him find clientele. Exotic dancing, bar tending. By the time he made it to St. Ray he had the means to find himself a comfortable apartment, pay his bills, and support his hobbies and vices.
