Physical Description: Tan skin, with dyed fluffy white hair that they grow out long and put a million tons of product in to make it stick up. Brown eyes and a few freckles. Italian heritage. They dress alternatively in shredded jeans and crop tops to punk leather jackets, although it’s never quite the polished effect you’d see from an influencer - a lot of the distress in their clothes is due to actual wear and tear.
Occupation: Officially they’re a singer songwriter but their dayjob is working in a grocery store to make ends meet.
Personality: Hawthorn is a passionate person whose love of music basically skirts the line between pursuing a dream and burning out on it constantly. They work a job that bores them half to death, but comes home and spends all night working on songs. They’re not exactly unhappy, but they’re so driven to do more than they’re doing now. They’re can be a little hotheaded and quick to speak without thinking, but they’ve got a massive heart and a strong set of morals. A lot of their art is inspired by general disillusionment with the status quo of their world. They play guitar and sing.

Backstory: Hawthorn went to community college to pursue music and their entire life is following their passion. Their parents did warn them about putting all their eggs in one basket, but they’ve remained supportive all the same - but they aren’t able to help much more than occasionally tossing a few bucks Thorn’s way every now and again when rent is tight. Certainly can’t help make their dreams come true, but Hawthorn has a pretty good relationship with them. Their older sister has had a lot more of a conventional life, and her success does occasionally make Hawthorn feel a little guilty for not being able to make the same gestures towards their parents, but they know they couldn't abandon their passion for working a generic nine to five that pays better.

They have only the crudest of abilities to manage their trajectory when utilising this power, and it does not protect them from landing heavily if they launch themself too far or fast. They can use the ability at close range but it’s equally likely to launch them backwards into a wall as it is to blast an enemy away.
