♣ Physical Description: Average height (5'10"ish), slim and slender, he's the sort of man that can easily blend in and go unnoticed. His features are plain and not particularly jaw-dropping, with tanned skin, a crop of reddish brown hair usually brushed neatly back, and a dusting of muddy brown freckles across his nose and cheeks. The only semi-remarkable thing about his appearance is the heterochromia: Kit's left eye is brown, while his right is blue, but even then this sometimes goes unnoticed by the fact he wears glasses (wire-framed and simple). He isn't muscular, nor is he too skinny, everything about him perfectly, completely average. Kit dresses in business casual most of the time, or even just business: dress slacks and collared shirts, sometimes with a good waistcoat or vest, sometimes with a nice sport coat. Neat and tidy and unassuming.

♣ Occupation: Owner of Bright People, a local nightclub all about magic.

♣ Personality: Kit could easily disappear into the background and no one would ever notice him, not because he's a shrinking violet but because it's what he prefers. An observer, rather than a participant, Kit is resourceful, intelligent, and ambitious, intensely focused on achieving his goals and thirsty for knowledge. He cares a lot more about appearances than he should, but makes every attempt to play it off, an affluent and unapologetic liar who is perfectly willing to spout off a bunch of nonsense if it'll get him what he wants in the end. He'll tell you what you want to hear and he'll tell it to you like you're the most important person in the world, only for you to later find out that he was actually stealing your wallet. Kit is both financially savvy and business oriented; he knows what it takes to succeed and he isn't going to let anyone stop him from doing just that. He's not very expressive, good at schooling his face and emotions into perfect blankness, and in general struggles with any kind of emotional intimacy at all. His connections with others are shallow and superficial, lacking any kind of depth or real friendship.

♣ Backstory: Growing up in a podunk little town somewhere in the southern wilds of Alabama, Kit grew up with both a strong accent and a strong desire to get rid of both the accent and the town. His life was dull and uneventful, surrounded on all sides by his seven siblings and two parents (along with a dozen or so cousins, aunts and uncles) who all insisted they work on the farm every single day. Embarrassed by his upbringing and desperate to pretend that he wasn't just some intellectually stunted country boy raised in manure and straw, Kit threw himself into his studies and ended up studying abroad at King's College in the UK to get a degree in Business. It's there that he met his future business partner Topher through a series of happenstances, none of which were expected but all of which led to them opening their nightclub together. Kit still speaks to his family, but sporadically and reluctantly and he doesn't really tell them anything important about his life - nor has he ever told them that he's gay, which means they all think he's just "waiting for the right woman to come along."
