Physical Description:
A little over 6 feet tall, with a strong jaw and a stable frame, Gabriel is bronze-skinned with dark hair -- kept long, loose around his shoulders except when he's working, when it's pulled back severely. His eyes are brown with a decisively reddish sheen to them, his mouth very full and equally serious. It is a rare sight to see him smile, and usually more dangerous than it is appealing.
He wears suits, well-tailored and comfortable, without ties, in charcoal grey over grey, in muted, nothing colors. His shoes are the most fashionable things he owns, fine pointed designer items that fit perfectly, comfortable and classy.

Personality:
People have observed that Gabriel is literally incapable of recognizing a joke; cute references are met with stony eyes and absolutely no smile. Those who know him more personally, however, realize that this isn't entirely true. He just finds most jokes stupid, and thus doesn't indulge them by responding.
This is a good metric of his relationships with, well, everyone. All his interactions have an edge of holier-than-though to them, a refusal to stoop to the common denominator. Gabriel obviously thinks he's better than most people, and the result is someone self-confident, self-certain, and arrogant. Everything he does is for himself, as he is the most important person in his life. If you're helping him, he'll keep you around and help you prosper. If you're not doing him any good, he'll throw you under the bus.
There are very few exceptions to this rule.
Backstory:
Gabriel decided young that he wanted to be a man in power, not a man under someone else's thumb, and he took all the steps he needed to achieve that. The right degrees in college lead to a position in national security at an embassy. Flexible morals and a willing to play Model Brown Employee helped him advance from there. Ruthless dedication to get the job done has left him where he is now: the top rung of his organization, spearheading a new team (assuming he can convince them it's worth the money), in an expensive apartment, and a workahaulic.
