Physical Description: The first thing a casual observer notices about Viv is the animosity radiating off of her like a palpable aura. A permanent scowl, crossed arms, and firmly planted feet make her a hard person to approach. Her shoulder length hair is dyed blue, though it's faded to a sort-of greenish turquoise now with an inch or so of brown root sprouting from her scalp. She tans easily, and has an upturned nose dotted with freckles. Her brown eyes are always rimmed in thick black eyeliner and smoky, slightly messy eyeshadow, contributing to her feral and somewhat hostile appearance. She runs curvier, though she tends to dress more masculine with spiked denim jackets covered in patches that hide her feminine frame.
Occupation: Record store employee and local musician (drummer)
Personality: Viv is confrontational to strangers, but warm and loyal to those who do the work to get close to her. She tends to distrust people and put up walls, acting defensively. She has a strong sense of justice, however, and will speak up when she sees cruelty happening, wherever the case. She loves to hit things, and the fatigue in her arms after smashing the drums leaves her with a sense of peace she finds nowhere else. She has a habit of tapping her fingers on tables, which many find annoying. She is a staunch atheist and finds all belief in religion, spirituality, or the supernatural to be childish.
Backstory: Viv came to St. Raymond ten years ago to escape from home, a suffocating farm town in Wisconsin you've probably never heard of. She's tried every job and had every hair color under the sun - now, at the age of 30, she has accepted that the only constant for her is change. She's found some stability in her job at the record store, if only because she gets a discount and it's easy enough she can zone out during her shifts. She is the drummer in a small local punk band (as yet unnamed - they can't decide).
